Cong. Mendoza Raises Roof At Ibaan Public Market

Poly carbonated roof at Ibaan Public Market.
Through the countrywide development fund of Cong. Dong Mendoza of 4th District, a poly carbonated roof panel was raised over one part of Ibaan Public Market which will benefit primarily the fish vendors during the town's market day every Saturday.

According to sources, the Congressman allocated P5M for the said project, with Department of Public Works And Highway (DPWH) Region 4-A as implementing agency. Ibaan Municipal Engineering Office receive no copy of the description of the project which resulted to limited information regarding the said project.

Ibaan Public Market wet section during Saturdays with no roof.
The project measures around 65 to 70 meters and being handled by Manila-based construction company ASPRER Construction.

An amount of P5M was allocated for the said project but our sources can't determine the bid project cost. Accordingly, no Ibaan players joined the bid process. And unfortuantely, Ibaan Municipal Engineering Office was provided no copy of the project description, affording them limited information about the project.

Aside from the roof, the red aluminum sheets with Ibaan Public Market description is also subject to replacement which form part of the project.

To any extent, the project provides positive reactions from Ibaan people since it could lessen the burden of market vendors and ease to consumers, specially every Saturday.
