Some Mutya Ng Ibaan 2012 candidates provided assistance to doctors and other volunteers who participated in the Municipality of Ibaan and Ibaan Parish Church’s joint project dubbed as ‘Free Circumcision” for growing boys held at Municipal Health Center, Don Pedro Subdivision, Brgy. Talaibon, May 14.
Despite pressing school and work schedule, a couple of the candidates still managed to be at the Health Center to help and contribute to the said activity. Some of them were assigned to directly assisting the doctors performing the circumcision, while others were sent to information table for the list of beneficiaries and at the distribution of medicines, also to beneficiaries after the circumcision.
With the list reaching almost 500 beneficiaries, almost overcrowding the Health Center, the candidates stayed on until the last kid on the table was done. All of them claimed that it’s their first time to become part of such activity. It didn’t matter to them how grueling it may take, as long as they’re able to do their part in the said activity.
Tired they may seem at the end of the day, they were still able to flash their killer smiles on cam.
Congratulations and thank you candidates. You just pushed those kids steps closer to manhood.
