Suarez Residence: The home that dreams built. |
Breaking the ice, we started with short formalities. Although the Suarez siblings have been following TIA for quite a long time, that's actually the first time we met.Ma'am Librada prepared us cups of coffee which further set the mood for more conversation. After which, Sir Danny led us upstairs for some breezy slumber provided by the house's terrace at the second floor. Although not totally a towering one, the terrace's view takes somewhere in time with lush green tree leaves atop every house within one's eye sight. And yes, you can smell the scent of clean, fresh air that embraces that whole barangay.

Standing before the house's gate, I must say, we were captivated by its modern-Californian-bungalow-style. The house is not really complicated with its architectural design. An engineer by profession in Vienna, Sir Danny took charge of designing the house. Although from miles away, he provided the blue print for its foundation. No wonder he's on smile with the result. (Although there are still some minor details that fell short of his expectations, hehe.)
Another thing that made me marvel a lot was the interior atmosphere of the house. Hardly one would feel the prickly heat of the sun even at noon. Glass window panels occupy almost half of the walls. But with soft-colored curtains hanging before a half-open window, cool air make their way already inside the house. There's no need actually for an airconditioning unit. It's all in there already.

As much as we wanted to stay longer, bottles of San Mig Light are already weighting our eyes down. But for sure, we will definitely find another time to visit the Suarez residence. But for now, we are all thankful for their hospitality and generosity that we hardly get these days. And we forward then to meeting the other Suarez siblings.
Again, thank you.
