The Interview

TIA:  What did your parents told you the first time they heard the news that you’re joining Mutya ng Ibaan 2012?
Allinah Janzen: “Maging proud ka sa pagrepresent ng ating barangay at kami ang unang susuporta sa'yo.", those were the first words my father and mother told me. They didn't even have any second thoughts! Well, maybe because they are my parents. Haha! But really, I was quite taken aback by what uttered. And I have to thank them for believing on me. That boosted much of my self confident. I owe it to them.
Allinah wears thousands of viral smile.

TIA:  What’s your fondest memory during your high school days?
Allinah Janzen: It's when I turned 4th year. I had my best victory party with my Pamilyang Useph.
https://s-static.ak.facebook.com/images/blank.gifThey were always fun to be with. I really love them. Victory party? Let me just put it this way. I'll keep it. But as far as I know, high school days will always bring smile on my lips. I'm just thankful I still get to see them once in a while although we've drifted apart going to different colleges and universities.

TIA:  Is there any song that best describes who and what you are now?
Allinah Janzen: I think Today my Life Begins by Bruno Mars." It goes like this:
I will break these chains that bind me, happiness will find me
Leave the past behind me, today my life begins
A whole new world is waiting it's mine for the takin'
I know I can make it, today my life begins.

TIA:  What extreme sport you wish to try? Why?
Allinah Janzen:  I want to try bungee jumping. Because I want to feel just for a moment that I am freely falling without knowing if someone will catch or just fall flat on the ground. I love the thrill, the rush and the freedom it brings. I think I can take higher than 500 feet or so. But before I do that, I'll ask God first to give me wings so I can fly. Some dream, huh? And honestly, I envy those who have been doing it. They don't seem to care. And yes, I want to experience screaming on top of my lungs on my way down. Let the gravity be my master!
She can be as enigmatic as she can be.

TIA:  Assessing yourself, what do you think is your best asset to win Mutya ng Ibaan 2012?
Allinah Janzen: I think my best asset to win Mutya ng Ibaan 2012 is my eye-capturing smile.
https://s-static.ak.facebook.com/images/blank.gifPeople have been telling me about it. One of the best things that Mutya has taught was to remain focused while keeping my smile at all times.

TIA:  Why do you think some men become unfaithful to their partners?
Allinah Janzen: I think it's because of lack of time, lack of trust, lack of communication with each other and most of all, lack of connection with God. God should always be in the center. Even if it's all about human relationship, we should never forget that it's God who first taught us how to love and how to be loved. I would like to add the "give-and-take" factor. Love is never a one-way-process. The same with communication. The are two parties. One is the sender, and the other is the receiver. The receiver then have to send back a reaction or something. That allows more degree of understanding among partners. Without it, including those things I've mentioned, a relationship is bound to break down. And either one of the partners will go unfaithful.

TIA:  Who’s your role model? Why?
Allinah Janzen: My role model is my mother. I want to be like her in the future. She is kind, compassionate and the most loving person in my life.
She prefers to have chicken for dinner.

TIA:  What are the things that make you feel good being a woman?
Allinah Janzen: It makes me feel good when I am still being respected by our men. One should not be treated as a property. And I don't intend to be one. Respect comes in different packages. For example, assuming we're in a relationship, the man has to understand that I still have a life to live. At least a certain degree of freedom of allowing me to do things that I wish to already rings a bell for what we call respect. And of course, no way I'm gonna do something that will hurt or insult him. I am a woman, then treat me like one.

TIA:  What will you choose for dinner, hawot/sapsap/dilis or fried chicken? Why?
Allinah Janzen: I'll be choosing fried chicken, because I want to have a full belly at night.. woohoo!

TIA:  What do you think of the women posing for men’s magazine like FHM?
Allinah Janzen: They are women who really worked hard to have their gorgeous body. It's alright to show off to the rest of the world what you worked for.

TIA:  What will be your reasons for you not to join Pinoy Big Brother?
Allinah Janzen: My very first reason is that I will lose my privacy. I will also have haters that will find every mistake I’ll be doing.
She can also be cocky as well sometimes.

TIA:  How are you going to promote your barangay and the Municipality of Ibaan?
Allinah Janzen:  I will promote our Barangay and Ibaan using tri media. Newspapers, Television, Internet, and Radio. This will encourage investors to put up businesses here in Ibaan that will generate income and employment.

TIA:  What makes PNoy a bad President?
Allinah Janzen:  I really can’t find any reasons for PNoy to be considered a bad president. He's only on his second year. He still has a long way to go. After his term as President, then may be I say something about his being the President. But right now, for me, I'll just let him to do his job, then assess him after his term.

TIA:  Is there anything that you want to change in Ibaan?
Allinah Janzen: None. Ibaan is beautiful and perfect in its own way.

TIA:  Among the candidates, who do you think is the most competitive? Why?
Allinah Janzen: I think it's Dang, because she got what it takes to win.
