RRCG bus leaves Manila at 2:30am, then arrives at the Lapulapu-Malainin STAR Toll exit around 3:15am. |
However, there's one thing that we seem to forget. Safety.
We're not saying the boundary between the two barangays is dangerous, neither the barangay themselves. The two barangays can be considered as two of most peaceful places in Ibaan. But then, chances are, we can't say when or where the lightning will strike, and they don't strike twice in the same place.
The point is, precaution is better than the cure. And the STAR Toll exit at the said barangays has to be more secure and worry-free for commuters. That can be made by establishing an "outpost" on either side as the place may accommodate.
An exit that is empty compromises Ibaan commuters' safety. |
Just like any tricycle terminals in Ibaan, a list of those who "fall in line" for incoming passengers will be greatly applauded. An RCG Bus usually leaves Manila at 2:30am. The bus then arrives at the exit around 3:15am. Of course, passengers will first look for a tricycle or any public transportation. In case no tricycle is at the place, then their safety is already compromised. At least men can defend themselves. But what about our women? Can afford to get them harmed?
Everyone wants to be in safe place. We then make this call to all public and government officials concerned. Let's make Ibaan a better and safer place to stay or to go to. It's going to be part of Ibaan's pride.
