Steering Committee On Series of Meetings for Ibaan's 180th

Headed by Dra. Pat Toreja, the Steering Committee for Ibaan's 180th Founding Anniversary Celebration is currently holding series of meetings and consultations to identify activities for Ibaenos leading to next year's big event. The committee hopes to encourage perpetual participations of different barangays so as to inculcate among everyone the spirit of cooperation and camaraderie.

As of now, tentative activities include Kite Flying Contest, Food Expo, Agriculture Trade Exhibit and some sporting activities. Consultations will still be held to solicit more suggestions from the people. These activities are supposed to be done starting May or June in preparation for Ibaan's big event. However, this still needs to be confirmed.

As promised, the Steering Committee intends to come up with activities that will further promote Ibaan community and it's culture and traditions. In line with this, everyone in the committee, together with Office of the Mayor,  are hoping that such activities will boost the town's tourism industry considering its strategic location.

Updates will be provided as soon as the Steering Committee has finalized the projected activities.
